Singu Chuli Peak


    Singu Chuli was formerly known as Fluted Peak. Wilf Noyce and David Cox made the first ascent of this peak from its northeast face and the top section of the East Ridge. This trek is strongly recommended for excellent mountain views. You will enjoy the great cultural diversity in the Ghandruk-Chomorong, Ghorepani before reaching the Fish Tail (Machhapuchhare Base Camp) and Annapurna Base Camp. The mountain can be approached from several routes: North-East Face, South Ridge, South Face and West Face.

    Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel
    This is the day for your arrival at Kathmandu. Our staffs will be at the airport to welcome you. You will then be transferred to the hotel of your choice and stay overnight. You will have the chance to discuss with our staffs in details on your trip and itinerary.

    Day 02: Sightseeing around Kathmandu
    ­­We will start the sightseeing tour at 9am after breakfast. You will be provided with a private vehicle and a professional tour guide. You will be visiting Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhhatnath Temple, Monkey Temple, Bhaktapur Durbar Square and Kathmandu Durbar Square. A final briefing and preparation of the trek will be given in the afternoon. Overnight you will stay at the hotel of your choice.

    Day 03: Kathmandu - Pokhara by air/land transportation.
    Wake up early in the morning and have light breakfast. You depart for the six hours drive to Pokhara (915m,) which is 200 kilometers west of Kathmandu. As you climb out of the Kathmandu valley, only to quickly descend again to the Trisuli River, you follow upstream to its junction with the Marsyangdi River. You follow the Marsyangdi gently up through heavily terraced fields and small hill towns to the Seti River that takes you directly into Pokhara. Having pleasant weather, Pokhara is tourist's paradise full of natural as well as cultural heritage sites such as lakes, caves, temples of Buddhist and Hindu along with mountains. You can observe views to the north across the hills and Phewa Tal (lake) to the white peaks of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. This drive will take most of the morning, leaving much of the afternoon to fall in love with its beauty. Overnight we will enjoy at the heavenly pleasure spot Pokhara.

    Day 04: Pokhara to Dhampus.
    After having breakfast you will drive to Phedi then have a short trek to Dhampus for 2 and half hours. Dhampus is a small Gurung ethnic group village. Hike around this village and relax by watching magnificent view of mountain and nature scenery. Overnight we will stay at hotel or lodge.

    Day 05: Dhampus to Landrung.
    This day we will heads to Landrung after having breakfast. The trek from Dhampus to Landrung is not technically difficult but the trail is long and climbs gradually and steadily. The trail passes through chestnut forests, on to a ridgeline with enchanting views and through small villages of Pothana, Deurali, Bainshikharka and Tolka. The day ends in Landrung which is  a Gurung village where the night is spent. Landruk is another unique and predominantly Gurung village, famous for its cultural richness and its astounding natural setting. Perched on a hill adjacent to Ghandruk and on the other side of the Modi River, Landrung continues to attract tourists from around the world. Landrung is also a famous vista, overlooking the surrounding villages, Pokhara Valley and the Annapurna region. Overnight we will enjoy at this beautiful land.

    Day 06: Landrung to Chomrong
    After having breakfast we will leave Landrung village and forwards the trail leading down hill, crossing the Modi Khola on a suspension bridge (New Bridge). The trail ascends then to a ridge top, passing through rhododendron forests and terraced fields. We will reach Jinwa Danda (hot springs) in about three hours before continuing another two hours to the Gurung village of Chomrong. This village is the gateway to the Annapurna Sanctuary and if weather permits, fantastic views of mountains including the impressive Annapurna south can be perceived. Overnight we will stay at Chomrong.

    Day 07: Chomrong to Dovan
    This day after having breakfast we will forward our trek from Chomrong to Dovan (2540m.) which takes about 6 hours. Leaving Chomrong, the trail descends on a stone staircase and crosses the Chomrong Khola (1860m.) then climbs out of the valley through the tiny settlements of Tilche through forests of Bamboo, rhododendron and oak. Climbing further on a rocky trail, you reach Bhanuwa and still gently climbing to Sinuwa (2340m.). Afterwards the trail is quite easier than previous hours. After you reach Kuldi Ghar the trail descends steeply to the Bamboo village (2310m.). If you are lucky enough, you could encounter a leopard, jackal and monkeys in and around the area. Now path gently ascends for next one and half hours to Dovan (2540m.). overnight we will sat at Dovan.

    Day 08: Dovan to Bagar
    After the night spent in Dovan, this day after having breakfast we will leads towards Bagar. This day a path is quite difficult and we might need to use rope on the way.The trail continues through a terraced fields and small ridges and forests and gives us the way to jyardan. After some walk we will reach to Bagar for overnight stay.

    Day 09: Bagar to Machhapuchhre Base Camp
    This day after having breakfast we will continue our trek upwards and reach the area known as Machhapuchhre Base Camp at 3720m. This is a collection of tea-houses spread over a large area. From here the mountain views are fantastic and include Annapurna (8091m), Annapurna III (7555m), Gangapurna (7454m) and Machhapuchhre. Overnight we will stay at Machhapuchhre Base Camp.

    Day 10: MBC to Glacier Camp.
    After having breakfast this day we will start to trek towards glacier camp, and the path follows through the Ice Glacier. Great views of several peaks at 360 degree will be in front of you. Over night stay at trekkers lodge / camp and enjoy with delicious dinner.2 hrs

    Day 11: Glacier Camp to Singu Chuli base camp
    This day we will forward our trek to Singu Chuli base camp trekking for about 5 hours.  Trekking trail leads to cross Annapurna glacier to follow the steep ascent trail all the way to Singu Chuli Base Camp. On the way you can enjoy the panoramic views of Hiunchuli (6441 m), Annapurna South (7229 m), Annapurna I (8091 m), Fishtail Mountain, Barahashikhar Mountain and many others. Over night stay at trekkers lodge / camp and enjoy with delicious dinner.

    Day 12: Rest day at base camp for necessary preparation
    This day is taken as rest or acclimatization day. In this day we will not do anything special on routine. If you wish you can explore around the place, can capture photographs and videos. Overnight you will stay at your own camp and prepare for the further trek that you are going to launch on coming days.

    Day 13: Singu Chuli base camp to High camp
    After having breakfast this day we will leads to high camp. The trail is rocky and covered by icy glacier. The views to be enjoyed are of Hiunchuli (6441m.), Annapurna South (7229m.), Annapurna I (8091m.), Fishtail Mountain, Barahashikhar Mountain and many others. Over night we will stay at trekkers lodge / camp and enjoy with delicious dinner.

    Day 14: High camp to Camp I.
    This day after breakfast we will start to climb heading camp I following the extremely rocky Path covered by icy glacier. The gorgeous views of scatted mountains Peaks, in front of you are really spell bounded. Over night stay at trekkers lodge / camp and enjoy with delicious dinner.

    Day 15: Camp I to Summit - base camp
    This day early in the morning we will start to climb Singu Chuli (Fluted Peak) and attempt Peak Summit. Its better to complete our climb before sun heat. On the top of Singu Chuli (Fluted Peak) one can have closer panoramic view of Annapurna range, Chulu Far East, Nawal peak, Tilicho peak, Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, Tibetan Mountains, Kang Guru Peak, Gyaji Kang peak, Tilje Peak, Kuchubhro peak and many more. After a short excursion and Photography we will descend down to the Singu Chuli base camp. Over night stay at trekkers lodge / camp and enjoy with delicious dinner.

    Day 16: Base camp to Bagar.
    After the night spent in Singu Chuli base camp, this day after having breakfast we will retrace to Bagar. On the way we can have the superb views of the mountains like Annapurna (8091m), Annapurna III (7555m), Gangapurna (7454m) and Machhapuchhre. After walking for about 5 hours we will reach to bagar for our overnight stay.

    Day 17: Bagar to Chomrong.
    This day after having breakfast we will retrace to Chomrong. We will move through the forest of Bamboo, rhododendron and oak. If you are lucky then you can see the animals like leopard, jackal, monkey and various others. Overnight we will stay in Chomrong.

    Day 18: Chomrong to Tadapani
    It takes 5-6 hours to reach Tadapani from Chomrong.You will cross some Gurung villages, a landslide, and a suspension bridge, last part of the trek is steep climb to Tadapani. This place is surrounding by rhododendrons forest so you will have an opportunity to see lounger monkey. You will see fabulous sunrise over fish tail, Gangapurna and Annapurna range. Stay overnight in Tadapani (2,710m/8,891ft).

    Day 19: Tadapani to Ghorepani.
    This day after having breakfast we will trek for about 5-7 hours to reach Ghorepani. The trial descends through rhododendron forest to stream and stiff extended ascending to Deurali, from where you will witness fabulous view of Himalayas including Dhaulagiri (8,167m/26,795ft). Then the path descends to Ghorepani (2,850m/9,350ft) for overnight. You will encounter the first of many elaborately decorated horse and mule caravans. Overnight we will be at Ghorepani.

    Day 20: Ghorepani to Birethanti.
    Its better that you set your alarm for 4 am today. It is 45 minutes hike up to the vantage point of Poon Hill by the torch light. You will stare westwards as the purple shadows recede and the awe-inspiring peaks catch the first dazzling rays of orange sun. After having the awesome view of sunrise from Poon hill, you then walk up to Birethanti via Ulleri & Tirkhedhunga ascending all the way about 6 hours. Today will be the last night of the Annapurna trek at Birethanti.

    Day 21: Birethanti to Nayapool - and drive to Pokhara.
    This day we will leads to Pokhara via birethanti. The trail to Birethanti leads south from here. After walking few famous places along the trail, we will reach Birethanti. It's a 20-minute walk on the rough trail to Nayapul from Birethanti, and then we have to climb steeply up the hill to the road. We found here some taxi that leads us to Pokhara. Overnight we will be staying at Pokhara lodge.

    Day 22: Pokhara - Kathmandu by air/land transportation
    Wake up early in the morning and after having light breakfast you are made ready for the travel for capital city. Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu takes about seven hours. While driving from Pokhara to Kathmandu, you head up to Damauli, Dumre, Muglin and Kurintar where Nepal's first Cable car is operated to reach to Manakamana Temple. En route, you can enjoy the mountain views, green sceneries, rice terrace fields, vegetable fields and people being engaged in their daily life activities. From Naubishe you climb up to Thankot, the gateway to the capital city. You can also fly from Pokhara to Kathmandu which takes about 25 minutes. Overnight we will stay at lodge in Kathmandu.

    Day 23: Shopping around Kathmandu and rest day
    This day we will do nothing extra on routine. We will have rest and in the evening we will have some shopping in the malls n local areas. You can have various sorts of things that you can be pleased with, you can buy thankas, handicrafts, handmade utensils like masks, paints and others various thing that makes you remember our country. You can visit malls for your other requirements. Overnight, be at your own hotel.

    Day 24: Departure to your next destination
    You may wish to do the last minute shopping for souvenirs or gift to your family, friends or relatives before your departure flight/drive or to commence any extra trips or activities you may have booked with us. If departing, you willbe transferred to the International Airport for your departure flight to your onwards destination.

Today will be the last night of the Annapurna trek at Birethanti.

    Day 21: Birethanti to Nayapool - and drive to Pokhara.
    This day we will leads to Pokhara via birethanti. The trail to Birethanti leads south from here. After walking few famous places along the trail, we will reach Birethanti. It's a 20-minute walk on the rough trail to Nayapul from Birethanti, and then we have to climb steeply up the hill to the road. We found here some taxi that leads us to Pokhara. Overnight we will be staying at Pokhara lodge.

    Day 22: Pokhara - Kathmandu by air/land transportation
    Wake up early in the morning and after having light breakfast you are made ready for the travel for capital city. Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu takes about seven hours. While driving from Pokhara to Kathmandu, you head up to Damauli, Dumre, Muglin and Kurintar where Nepal's first Cable car is operated to reach to Manakamana Temple. En route, you can enjoy the mountain views, green sceneries, rice terrace fields, vegetable fields and people being engaged in their daily life activities. From Naubishe you climb up to Thankot, the gateway to the capital city. You can also fly from Pokhara to Kathmandu which takes about 25 minutes. Overnight we will stay at lodge in Kathmandu.

    Day 23: Shopping around Kathmandu and rest day
    This day we will do nothing extra on routine. We will have rest and in the evening we will have some shopping in the malls n local areas. You can have various sorts of things that you can be pleased with, you can buy thankas, handicrafts, handmade utensils like masks, paints and others various thing that makes you remember our country. You can visit malls for your other requirements. Overnight, be at your own hotel.

    Day 24: Departure to your next destination
    You may wish to do the last minute shopping for souvenirs or gift to your family, friends or relatives before your departure flight/drive or to commence any extra trips or activities you may have booked with us. If departing, you willbe transferred to the International Airport for your departure flight to your onwards destination.

    Services Included :

    11. Tourist Class Hotel accommodation on the same basis in others cities if applicable.

    1. Client's personal clothes, Sleeping Bag and meals in cities,

    5. Any unforeseen expenses, drinks (coke, beers, mineral water etc),
    6. Some climbing equipments like (climbing shoes, trekking shoes, crampons, head torch/Batteries/ Bulbs, Gloves (Thermal), Gaiters.
    7. Tips to tour leader and other staff a member & Any unforeseen expenses.
    8. Emergency rescue by helicopter, medication and hospitalization in case of illness and trip delays.
