Pumori Expedition


    Pumori is the most popular mountain for those who whish to climb 7000m peaks in the Himalayas of Nepal. It is a fantastic mountaineering objective; the peak straddles the Nepalese-Tibetan border, allowing a view of the great contrast between the arid Tibetan Plateau to the north and west.

    Normally, three camps are set in the approach above the base camp. Camp I or advanced base camp at 5700m, camp II at 6200m, camp III at 6850m. After that there are two climbing ranges; one from Tibet side and other is from Nepal side. Between these 2 sides the Nepal side is easier to Summit Pumori that is normal route for the climbing is South East Ridge. So it is easy to reach on the summit of Pumori 7145m.
