Annapurna Royal Trek

This short trek follows a trail along the foothills of Annapurna, north of the Pokhara valley. The Royal Trek is so-named because Prince Charles and his 90 person entourage had explored this route in the early eighties. Starting from Kalikastan ridge, about 25 km from scenic Pokhara, the trek passes through beautiful Gurung villages. This four days trek commences from Pokhara, the valley of lakes offering panoramic views of the Annapurna massif as also of the Manaslu Himal. This is the best trek for those who want to experience village life and striking mountain views in a relatively short period of time.
